from the Matt Gates investigation to Congress threatening to stop Trump from taking office this is your weekly news recap hey everyone welcome back to the Doctor Ruga podcast I'm your host Jesse Verga I have decided to start a new weekly podcast where I tell you all about the things the media is not talking about so we'll split these episodes into four segments Wellness Wisdom and warfare and then an out of focus segment where we talk about all the things that may or may not have made it to the headlines at the end of each segment I will give you my off the cuff unscripted take on the matter starting with the out of focus segment since it's the most in your face topic let's chat about the 40 page document released by the House Ethics Committee on their internal investigation of Matt Gates I'm not gonna read all 40 pages but rather I'd like to discuss the highlights and as usual a copy of these documents with my notes I will be available for you to check out and download using the link in the description I always have an associated article where I keep all of my resources so you can see what I see the house originally investigated allegations that Gates may have quote engaged in sexual misconduct and or illicit drug use shared inappropriate images or videos on the house floor misuse of state identification records converted campaign funds to personal use and or accepted a bribe improper gratuity or impermissible gift that being said the house changed their scope and did not look into all of the allegations specifically the allegations related to images or video shared on the house floor state identification records personal use of campaign funds and acceptance of bribe or gratuity to be honest I'm real curious as to why they dropped the investigation into these allegations but I digress let's dive into each of the allegations that were actually investigated so allegation No. 1 from at least 2,017 to 2020 Gates regularly paid women for sex now for the record his apparent partner in crime was Joel Greensburg who is currently serving an 11 year sentence for sex trafficking among some of the same shit gates as being charged for Greenberg was a former county tax collector in Florida and claims that Gates was a part of the chaos and disgusting behaviour that he was involved in that LED to a subsequent arrest apparently Greenberg went to seeking arrangements com that website has changed but which is Quote Sugar a sugar dating website that helps older men find younger women for quote mutually beneficial relationship we can go ahead and call this another like back door back room website to summarize with the investigation found is that Gates would Venmo or pay cash to Greenberg who would then go and get these girls these women we can call them girls cause they were they were pretty young we're talking 18 ish um but Gates got sloppy and probably a little cocky and started paying these girls himself from a masked email address which clearly he didn't mask very well his downfall though was the text messages to these women where he uses common street terminology or street vernacular will also sounding like a fucking idiot there are screenshots of these messages on my website so if you or beware link in the video description these women would also bring him drugs so there's the cherry on top if you wanna see roughly how much he spent um there is a whole ass table in the report outlining the 12 ish women he sent thousands of dollars to over the course of 2 3 years most of the women were interviewed and they said that they were actually paid for sex a couple of the other women who were apparently older they were 25 and 27 at the time claim that he paid them for their company and if they had sex which sometimes they did it was not a service he paid for guess you can call that on the house the politicians like our state senator up there everything was on the house um I'm not sure where the line is but I'm not privy to the inner workings of escorts and prostitutes so I'll go ahead and just take their word for it the document has very specific examples from these women of how Gates paid for sex like telling a girl he'd help her with her college tuition and when she shows up to pick up the check he's in the middle of like a menage a TWA with other women and basically coerces her to join you know in order for her to get the check and then he does eventually give her the check allegation No. 2 in 2,017 he engaged in sexual activity with a 17 year old girl a minor this is a felony crime in Florida and according to Florida statute quote a person charged with this offense may not claim ignorance or misrepresentation of the minor's age as a defense so basically Gates can't say I didn't know she was a minor or she can't say or he can't say you know she showed me a fake ID you there's no defense to to engaging in sexual activity with a minor gate says this girl does not exist and if she does she's a liar so this poor victim cooperated with for years with the department of justice in the house her statements did not change over last decade investigations and was also corroborated with other witnesses so we can go ahead and say that this girl is telling the truth according to the victim this happened at a house party hosted by Mr Dorworth Dorworth claims he wasn't home so the ethics committee who interviewed him was like uh okay so there was a party at your house and you weren't there sure buddy then they showed him cell tower records saying that at a minimum his cell phone was home and he was like I don't know how technology works but I wasn't home wasn't me your honor crazy part in all of this is that there is evidence that Gates had begun to text this girl right after the party while she was still 17 and then actually begin began hanging out with her after her 18th birthday a few months later where he began to pay her for sex the victim did say she was high on drugs at Doorwood's house party but regardless it is a crime for a 35 year old to have sex with a 17 year old at least in the state of Florida where the event occurred allegation No. 3 from 2,017 to 2,019 he possessed illegal drugs including cocaine and ecstasy on multiple occasions we already mentioned this but there were several witnesses who said they saw him using all sorts of shit at parties allegation No. 4 Gates accepted gifts including transportation and lodging in connection with the trip to the Bahamas so according to 5 USC 75 35 and House Rule 25 he wasn't allowed to accept gifts over $50 from people that aren't his friends and no more than $480 from people that are his friends now the value changes per year I'm assuming because of inflation but it's you know it's roughly around four hundred dollars and it was about 400 300 four hundred dollars back in 2017 and side note you can't be like oh yeah we go way back I mean we go way back you have to actually prove someone is your friend um during this party Gates had several women and a few of his guy friends fly to a rental property in the Bahamas the women who attended were women who in the past he had paid for sex but when they were interviewed they said they weren't paid for this particular event because the trip itself was the payment allegation No. 5 in 2,018 he told his chief of staff to help get one of these women who he was paying for sex a passport and the chief of staff basically told the State Department at Gates's direction that this woman was a constituent which was false allegation No. 6 he also knowingly and willfully tried to impede and obstruct the investigation apparently the House Ethics Committee sent him nine requests for information six foyer requests and 29 subpoenas for documentation most of which he ignored or sent some weird ass response to nothing or none of this helped him at all the house was like prove you're innocent and he was like if you have five pickles and six cats how much change does George get from Brian like I can't believe this dude was reelected Florida is America's basement the cherry on top of all of this is the Department of justice did not cooperate with the house and refused to turn over anything from their investigation that would help the house with their investigation if you recall partner justice was investigating Gates for sex trafficking because he supposedly was having women flown to or whatever to him so they could bone while he was on travel so for my understanding this case was dropped because the women were consenting and we're not forced or coerced to travel the DOJs also said that they don't investigate things unless they're serious enough which I have no fucking idea what that means but if they dropped it I don't know why they can't turn over whatever they can to Congress cause Gates sent the department of justice a ton of information and ton of documents that may have proved his innocence but when the house was trying to investigate him he told him to go kick rocks I did want to mention one of the allegations that was not investigated and that was Gates being accused of showing images and videos on the house floor so Homeboy took naked pictures and videos of his sex capades with these chicks and then showed them at work if that was any one of us we would be fired now there is also an issue with him buying and selling stocks in cryptocurrency without reporting it apparently you can buy and sell stocks up to $1,000 at a time but anything more needs to be disclosed which he did not the house brought this up because Gates has a shoddy past he was even caught for threatening a witness and he later apologized for that and we all know that scandal so where is this investigation now the answer is simply nowhere since Gates resigned from the house in November the house can't continue to investigate him will he face any repercussions for his crimes now that the OJ dropped the case who fucking knows now let's lay some counters to these arguments 1 Gates claims his sex life is not up for investigation and he's right except when your sex life breaks a dozen laws and house statutes and 2 most of the women claim that all the sex was consensual but most of them were under the influence of drugs and question their ability to give consent now that argument can go a million different ways but at the end of the day man or woman or whatever if you are under the influence you cannot give consent now this investigation report required a vote by the house in order to be released uh it was voted on December 5th and released on December 23rd the people who did not want the report into Matt Gates to be released was apparently because quote this guy doesn't work here anymore cause he left in November so when they voted in in December he was already gone but the rest of the house felt that that you know the American people deserve to know so the slimy motherfuckers who didn't want you to know and voted to not release this report are all Democrats and one Republican honestly I'm just as shocked as you are I 100% thought it would be the other way around on a brighter note the non profit citizens for responsibility in ethics in Washington or crew is suing the DOJ to release the Matt Gates documents that they collected during their investigation which was subsequently dropped I'll leave a link to their website and their filing in the description with that out of the way let's move on to the rest of the craziness that was last week and continue the out of focus segment starting with a new Covid conspiracy uh apparently a former FBI PhD microbiologist Jason Bannon who served under the Joe Biden administration said that there was evidence that Covid was caused by a Chinese lab leak but the FBI was not allowed to publish this claim that being said the various articles that I read also state that multiple agencies had presented evidence that Covid was man made but they were all suppressed I know somewhere there is a red hat screaming I told you so but I'm waiting for the evidence right now all we have is a whistleblower and a few other independent research institutes saying the same thing which should be enough but I wanna see how they figured out this thing was man made moving on to Representative Annie Custer a Democrat from New Hampshire who recently announced her retirement she's claiming that she won't let quote Trumpers try to kill her for a second time after she narrowly escaped the January 6th riot there were also statements she made referring to her retirement as an example to her peers and something that they should follow and not stay in Congress forever and allow a younger generation to rule and I'm saying rule because we are literally in a Tolkien novel at this point but of all the Lord of the rings references that I could make this is the most important next there is an apparent plan to block Trump from taking office you heard that right folks well these are just rumors from two democratic scholars it has sparked outrage as Dems are pressuring their elected officials and conservatives are channeling their inner rioter while these two scholars Evan Davis and David Schultz are saying that Trump certifications can be blocked on the grounds of quote an oath breaking insurrection which makes Trump ineligible to be president now similar efforts have been made like Colorado trying to leave Trump off of the primary ballot which were rejected so I'm not sure why they want to threaten or even hint at this like listen he won I'm not even sure if Harris was a better fit but to be honest I wish we would just vote in a third party member but instead we opt for this like cancerous bipartisan dichotomy now if you are not in California this next bit will just be a fun fact for you to cry over later in California now when you buy a firearm you have to sign a statement saying you know where all of your other firearms are if you have any others so if you have a friend or family borrowing them you better know where they are and confirm their serial numbers now this may seem crazy but with all of these American people right American citizens buying guns and bringing them to Mexico or selling them to the cartel I don't see an issue here now I'm not really a fan of the government all up in my business but giving firearms the cartel is a higher priority considering we have substantial evidence that shows that these cartels rendezvous with terrorists so there's that now I'll be doing a separate segment for all the laws that go into effect in 2025 so if you're in Cali look for those they'll be in the form of YouTube short so get subscribed please and thank you our next update is right out of your favourite horror film recently the question of whether AI should be used to resurrect extinct species like the fucking Neanderthal which by the way is one of our closest relatives uh how about not I can already see this thing going bad and like now we have zombies on a serious note though experts are saying that there are some serious ethical concerns for using AI for things like this which I kind of agree with since you know it's a living being that we plan to fuck with you know on top of that like what if the 4th the fuck do you do if you're successful like keep this thing in a zoo in a lab like if I don't agree with dogs or beagles being used I'm pretty sure I wouldn't agree with a somewhat humanoid um now on the flip side using AI could save institutions and research institutions like a ton of money in public funds like grants it's not like they're gonna stop studying Neanderthals and maybe they don't try to actually grow this ancestor of ours now I'm not sure but we've got to be on some kind of like border between like cool science and waiting for Sarah Connor our next segment is wellness two weeks ago the National Institute of health released an article regarding an observational study of more than 6,500 adults in cities like New York Baltimore Minneapolis and Winston Salem North Carolina basically they found that more exposure to air pollution was linked to an increased risk for blood clots and as we know blood clots are not good especially if they travel to your heart lungs or brain now this study was conducted from 2000 2018 so about 18 years out of all these people 248 or 3.7% develop blood clots in deep veins apparently they took air samples from the participants houses and communities will also controlling for about variables that contribute to these blood clots like age exposure uh to tobacco and underlying respiratory or other health conditions I'm gonna leave a link for this article and the research study in the description but I wouldn't go nuts thinking you're at risk just yet like let's wait for other you know others in the field to state their review of the study and see if we can replicate the results obviously living in places with shitty air quality is going to have its problems right but this is extremely specific uh that being said I am not surprised but you know let's let's wait for the science to develop on this the next wonderful news is also from NIH in it is a new research study that provides insights about how bad cholesterol actually works in the body of this bad cholesterol or LDL is still bad but we now know how it contributes to things like heart disease studies like this will help scientists treat and hopefully prevent things like heart disease but you know as a rule eat better exercise regularly um if you don't know I do own MB Fitness which offers free training plans so if you wanna take a look at that the link is once again in the description these plans were put together by a variety of professionals in the field from personal trainers to holistic doctors moving on there have been a ton of recent recalls so I'm going to read the latest recalls from both the USDA and the FDA starting with the USDA on Friday December 20th the USDA recalled Ralph's Packing Company ready to eat pork and beef Bologna products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen this includes uh meats of various weights in their vacuum sealed chubs of Ralph's Circle our brand garlic Bologna and things like that there are quite a few that were recalled also on December 20th we have Imperial Foods and Meats Inc recalls raw pork sausage products produced without benefit of inspection and these are gonna be things labeled Old World Italian Sausage rope and link on December 19th we have nail factory recalls ineligible frozen celliroform fish products imported from Vietnam and that nail is N a I L but it is an acronym their imported nail is located in Huntington Beach California it's recalling approximately 16 pounds of ineligible frozen fish products that were produced by an establishment in Vietnam that is not eligible to export these cillier reforms fish now I am gonna mention one more that actually came out the beginning of the month December 4th so the Food Safety and Inspection Service or FSIS issues public health alert for ready to eat frozen chicken products imported without the benefit of import reinspection so these are gonna be the ready to eat frozen chicken products like Yummy Dino Buddies Holiday Nuggets Breaded Nugget Shaped White Meat Chicken Patties so if your kids eat dino nuggets you might wanna take a look at this recall and see if those qualify now from the FDA we have Gardeners Candles which is a chocolate candy bar was recalled due to undeclared tree nuts that were in the products and these were cashews Estellas which is a capsule release drug um bottles may contain empty capsules so if you bought a bottle and it was empty then you didn't realize it till you opened it you could there's a recall for that we also have cystain which is a lubricant eye drop which was also recalled due to fungal contamination December 20th we have Jose Madrid Chipotle con queso salsa uh was recalled because of undeclared Yellow 5 and Yellow 6 we also have Par Pharmaceuticals adrenaline Chloride solution or epinephrine nasal solution was recalled because this is an unapproved drug I don't know how the hell that happened we also have the taste of dutchland which is a frozen buttered vegetable carrots peas cauliflower and corn uh there was undeclared milk in these products and I apologize for butchering the name we have Organe which is 30 g plant protein Complete Protein Powder in chocolate was recalled because a product may contain undeclared peanuts Lay's potato chips were also recalled for potential or undeclared milk allergen so that's a Frito Lay recall thousand which is a Sugarland herbal formula herbal dietary supplement was also recalled because the product contains undeclared metformin and gleiburide um that's a bit of an issue but I digress and lastly uh the last one I'll mention which is from December 16th is from Force Forever which is a dietary supplement this product contains undeclared chemicals and it including dexamethazone now for our next segment wisdom in hopes to put you in a better mood here are some fun facts brought to you by Northwestern Medicine so there are 11 fun facts starting with fun fact No. 1 60% of the human brain is made of fat making it the fattest organ in the human body these fatty asses are crucial for your brain's performance so make sure you're fueling it with healthy brain boosting nutrients and as a sidebar brain boosting nutrients are salmon eggs blueberries leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables problems between the brain and the body No.7 it is a myth that you only use 10% of your brain you actually use all of it even when you are sleeping neurologist confirm that your brain is always active I did not know that this myth was actually still circulating No. 8 the average adult human brain weighs about 3 pounds that is about as much as a half a gallon of milk men tend to have slightly larger brains than women but this does not impact intelligence apparently a quick note on the men part scientists do not always collect information from from participants about their gender identity to avoid bulb all that power calls for some much needed rest adequate sleep helps maintain the pathways in your brain additionally research shows that sleep deprivation is linked to alzheimer's disease and on to our last segment warfare which is here to piss you off but when it comes to matters of national security that always happens recently on the Sean Ryan Show Sarah Adams also known as Super Bad former CIA operative made her third appearance on the show to bring us more news related to the global landscape of Intel and security she mentioned a book released by the Transatlantic Intelligence Consortium which I have right here uh this book she also contribute to it's called Al Qaeda 2.0 the upcoming attack on the United States and Europe unveiled the link for this book is also in the video description this book contains 90 pages of human intelligence and open source intelligence that corroborates one story we need to be prepared especially prepared for Islamic extremists to try and attack the United States and Europe they plan to attack places that are not obvious like your local coffee shops and libraries to show us just how false our sense of security actually is they also plan to coordinate these attacks so they all happen at once and overwhelm first responders which will result in mass casualties Adams mentions that there may be around 1,000 train members already here in the United States thanks to the lacks border security to add fuel to this fire when we gave Afghanistan back to the Taliban and what was probably the worst pull out in American history that pull out game we fail to remember that the Taliban and al Qaeda are homies even the top Taliban leader gave his daughter in marriage to Hamza bin Laden oh yeah that's right Hamza bin Laden is alive and is the new leader of al Qaeda if you don't know who Hamza is he is the son of Osama bin Laden I should also mention that his other two brothers are also alive and are also serving in al Qaeda currently the US fails to acknowledge this and says that Hamza died in the US counter terrorism operation on the Afghanistan Pakistan border the worst part of al Qaeda's booming return is they've decided to decentralize meaning each little coalition of terrorists can operate independently they just gotta follow headquarters ideologies like a terrorist franchise and now they want all the other extremist groups like cough cough Hamas to unite like the worst supervillain group ever to make matters even worse they've trained thousands of members in various trades from from bombers to cyber attackers and oh wait the worst part is actually that the US is still sending billions of dollars to the Middle East so we're basically paying for the shit now Sean Ryan has a petition to get one of the rebels who's trying to fight against these terrorist leaders in Afghanistan to testify before Congress in hopes that the Congress will stop sending money to the Taliban but Congress has done nothing about that and I will link to that story from the Sean Ryan podcast um in the description now I'll be doing an entire book review here soon so be on the lookout for that this Al Qaeda 2.0 is a great book but we need to keep in mind that not all intelligence is good intelligence that being said I'd at least like to be prepared to maybe shelter in place if shit pops off um if you want more information on how to prepare I already have some videos on that as well I'll also be releasing an in depth preparation guide this won't be a build a bunker type guide but it'll be enough to help you become more self sufficient and resilient in times of crisis I also have a special guest who is going to be coming on here in the next couple of weeks who is an emergency preparedness and preparation specialist based in Idaho who has years of working in the Air Force as an officer and had now runs her own essentially preparation company who's going to be coming on to the show to talk a little bit more about
